Career Prospects

Graduates of our MA programs are trained in Natural Language Processing and usually find positions in industry or academia. Graduates of the MA Text Mining have hands-on training in applying text mining technologies in interdisciplinary setting. Graduates of the research-oriented program in  Human Language Technology tend to find research positions in industry or choose PhD positions.

We have connections to various companies where students are encouraged to follow internships. Students can chose to do their final thesis research with a company, which gives them hands-on industry experience. We host regular events where students and companies can present their work, network and discuss ideas for internships.
